Pair a replacement AirPod (Left/Right AirPod)

1. Make sure your replacement AirPod, old AirPod, and charging case are charged and powered on.

2. Disconnect and forget your AirPods from “my devices” list on your phone.

3. Place both the old AirPod and the replacement AirPod into the charging case.

4. Open the lid of the charging case. You should see a small button on the back of the case. Press and hold the button until you see a white light begin to flash.

5. Your Airpods should now pop up on your devices screen.

6. If prompted, confirm the pairing process.

7. Play some audio or make a call to ensure both AirPods are working properly.

If this doesn't work, connect the case to power (both AirPods must be in the charging case), close the lid and wait 20 minutes.

Please be aware that this may take some time in certain situations.

Pair a replacement Charging case​

1. Charge everything first

Place both AirPods earbuds into the new replacement charging case and make sure the case has enough battery. It is best to charge the case and earbuds for at least 20 to 30 minutes before starting.

2. Insert both earbuds into the case

Make sure both the left and right AirPods are seated correctly inside the charging case. Then close the lid.

3. Wait for a moment

Leave the lid closed for about 30 seconds. This gives the earbuds time to sync with the replacement case.

4. Open the lid

Open the charging case lid, but keep the AirPods inside the case. Press and hold the setup button On the back of the charging case, press and hold the setup button for about 15 seconds until the status light starts flashing amber and then white.

6. Connect to your iPhone or other Apple device

Hold the open charging case close to your iPhone or iPad. A setup animation should appear on the screen. Tap Connect and follow the instructions shown on your device.
